Mycelium Institute.

Hi everyone ^^
It's good to be back.
It's fun to take pictures.

I would like to take you with me on a small journey;
to walk around the Yaga.
Let me be your legs & eyes.
Some might say a curated vision
For my second visit to Yaga and with a still-recovering knee.
I was able to get some more portraits for People of Yaga series.
But I was more excited to capture Forest Transformation, and what the hell is this doing here? lol
This sums up the short intro.
I recommend watching it on a big screen.
You will figure out your own story anyway.
enjoy. ^^
p.s. replay the song if needed.

Almost the same spot as last year... new camp has emerged - The "swamp" camp. It was bigger, with new residents and neighbors. Good place; I kinda like the Pinewood Camper side.
Nothing much to add here; we got trolleys, and they rock. Yet coming with the bus would still be the best. You can pack the whole village in it... got some ideas already. Even tho I wont gonna lie... I kinda feel like I want to switch the role for next yaga... and bring some lights. ^^
and now... Let the forest meet:

As you might not recognize the same space here at all...

Great lad, he was shooting yaga on film.
Hope you had a blast with it ^^

welcome home ^^
The backstage
My personal favorite point of view...

How is your work?
-Someone didn't return the Drill bit.
Is that your main or side quest today?
-Been calling all numbers the whole morning, no luck yet.
Ahh, it's main... You'll find it. ^^
Plot twist - nobody found it.

The Duskwood.

Won't gonna lie, the stage was crafted with love... but we will revisit it at night ^^
Already excited to print this out big ^^

Hiiii laki.eve ^^
Was a pleasure to see ya again. This year Evelin was hosting performing artists from Duskwood stage, and I guess she did a flawless job since we practically never met during the 4 days of the festival haha.
fun fact, I did meet a cool cat out there on Yaga, and guess who's the owner?

Random hour.
And we are transitioning into the first night at the yaga

THE
DUSK
WOOD.

And this one probably will be hanging in my studio in glowbox ^^ will show it off when I make it.
btw. enjoying the music? song is a blast.

Good morning ^^

Hah, that was a sudden change, right? Well, to be honest, i barelly moving photos up and down; they pretty much went chronologically as I did shoot, so it was a big contrast to me too, I guess.
Let's scout around a lil bit more... It's the most fun activity to do in Life anyways. Just wander around

Ayeee!

The beauty of working with Agar in Petri dish - Creation of living culture, selective process of finding the "strongest"
with transfering it to liquid base. All to create liquid micelium for further use for incalucation of substrat (a future home) for micelium to grow and fruit.
I love that Yaga is full of interesting workshops. But to see it all here in the forest - for people to learn how to work and research a shroom culture is happening around the world.
Most of the people alive to this day.. only because of curiosity to learn what shrooms can do... and Fleming discovered Penicilin.

When couches get a high ground... does it mean the rain is coming? ^^

Burning Stage.

Thank you.
Thank you all for taking your time to check out this collection of work.
Thank you all for comming to Yaga this year. I tried my best to keep distance from people yet still had pleasure meeting all of you.
What is comming next? I have no clue... will wind down, probably let camera chill for now and focus on other type of work: probably will be printing and making some merch soon.
And I miss the swimming pool so much... everything hurts guys. I want to swim ^^
